Welcome Home
Those Who Love Me , by Unknown

When I am gone, release me, let me go.
I have so many things to see and do.
You mustn’t tie yourself to me with tears,
Be happy that we had so many years.
I gave you my love, you can only guess
How much you gave to me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you have shown
But now it’s time I travel on alone.
So grieve awhile for me, if grieve you must
Then let your grief be comforted by trust.
It’s only for a little while that we must part,
So bless the memories within your heart.
I won’t be far away, for life goes on.
So if you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can’t see or touch me, I’ll be near.
And if you listen with your heart you’ll hear
All of my love around you soft and dear.
And then, when you must come this way alone
I’ll greet you with a smile and
“Welcome Home.”

2019 Reunion Was Wonderful!

We held another reunion for ALL the related families on July 26-28, 2019, in Thomas, WV.  We mean it, Everyone related was welcome. A diverse representation attended.

The turnout was smaller than in past years but we still had a great time. It was a intimate gathering where everyone who attended had the opportunity to talk with one another and share the stories of their personal family group.

In the coming days we hope to share more details from our 2019 gathering.

Images from the Past

This is a sample of images from Family Photo Albums of Anthony and Frances DePollo. The albums (11 total) were provided by Bernice (DePollo) McGinn and scanned by Gary DePollo to preserve the images in digital format.  Scanning photos will ensure they endure the effects of time. Often the color can be restored and blemishes corrected. Scanned images take up far less space and can be used in all manner of ways. Most importantly it’s a way to preserve the history and honor the memory of those who came before us. If other family members wish to have their albums or special photos scanned contact Gary.
